Information Services Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic person to join a team in a progressive organisation that provides quality support services in the Bay of Plenty.

Position Summary: 
To provide a comprehensive, efficient and friendly information and advocacy service to the public with a focus on increasing community awareness and support.

Job Requirements:
  • Support clients, families, carers, whanau, and health professionals to access relevant updated information
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the health sector in New Zealand
  • Prepare submissions on behalf of the organisation on a range of relevant topics
  • Support a small number of clients

  • Relevant experience and qualifications
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural sensitivity and an empathetic approach to people from all walks of life
  • Computer and administration skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and strong attention to detail
  • Must be extremely organised and able to multi-task
