Community Program Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, positive and goal-oriented person who is passionate about working in the community for a progressive organisation that provides quality support services in the Bay of Plenty.

Position Summary: 
To develop and maintain a service to the public that will enhance both their ability and opportunity to participate in community life and activities. 

Job Requirements:
  • Support and coordinate the Programmes budget
  • Develop and maintain individual client plans and records
  • Coordinate community activities
Ideal Candidate:
  • Relevant experience and qualifications
  • Health or community services background
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural sensitivity and an empathetic approach to people from all walks of life
  • Computer and administration skills (~60% of the role)
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be professional and quality-focused
