RESTAURANT MANAGER

 
Whakatane Cobb & Co requires an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the front of house team of this popular family restaurant.
 
This person must have a minimum of 2 years’ hospitality management experience.
 
In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing all aspects of restaurant operation including front desk duties
  • Supervising and training staff
  • Delivering customer service in a personal and professional manner
  • Rostering staff and effectively communicating with staff when they work
  • Cash handling and banking
  • Ensuring that health, safety, liquor licencing and gaming machine regulations are followed
 
Ideally you will have a Duty Manager’s Certificate and have the ability to work within a team yet also lead from the front with the ability to complete tasks with a ‘hands on’ positive approach and attitude. 
 
If you are a reliable, outgoing, self motivated individual who has the ability to deal with customer requirements and are able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays and have the skills and attributes we describe then we want to hear from you.
 
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or valid work permit with at least 12 months until expiry.
